Following up from the non-technical introduction to cryptocurrency (if you missed it, you can catch up here) we invite you to join us for a series of five weekly seminars where you will learn how exactly bitcoin works in just a few lunch break sessions.
From week one we will dive into technical details of blockchain and mining - the fundamental concepts driving the bitcoin network. Next we will touch on public key cryptography - a decades old technology that is at the core of bitcoin’s security. We will also learn about public and private keys, bitcoin address, wallets, transactions, network forks and more.
The course will conclude with an advice on how to stay friends with the taxman while using bitcoin, discussion of regulation challenges and best practice recommendations. Each session will take approximately 30 min + time for open discussion.
